I never played the game, but I see Samus and Pikachu paired together in fanart a lot recently. I'm assuming they partner up in the single-player mode or something?

I didn't know who Samus was up till now, but this is just rather funny and random (which is probably an unoriginal observation that could be applied to your work in general) and I like it.
